A Land for All: Two States One Homeland is a joint Israeli-Palestinian political initiative promoting a future that is not only equitable in theory but workable in practice—for both peoples.

A Land for All promotes a vision of two democratic, sovereign states—Israel and Palestine—linked together in a confederation with gradual steps toward freedom of movement and residence for all Israelis and Palestinians across the shared homeland. By rejecting zero-sum thinking on complex issues like Jerusalem, settlements, and refugees, A Land for All’s model offers national self-determination without separation, shared governance without erasing identity, and security without subjugation.

A Land for All’s work spans three main areas.

Public engagement in Israel and Palestine

Since 2012, A Land for All has held thousands of grassroots events across the homeland, inspiring Palestinians and Israelis to work with us in shaping the collective future we seek. A Land for All’s vision has been adopted by prominent Israeli-Palestinian movements, and is increasingly featured in local media and policy discussions as a viable alternative to the two-state v. one-state deadlock.

Research and policy development

By collaborating with global academic institutions, local think tanks, and civil society leaders, A Land for All produces practical, informed policy proposals that bridge theory and implementation, tailoring existing research on confederal models to the unique context of Israel-Palestine and to the challenges of our current moment.

Regional and international advocacy

Through strategic partnerships and investment in international outreach, A Land for All’s vision has attracted support from governments, senior diplomats, and global leaders across the region, as well as in Europe and North America. In 2025, A Land for All received the Global Pluralism Award in recognition of our work.
